What to expect?
We do understand it can be a bit daunting to 'give church a try' and, even if you are a seasoned church-goer, stepping into a new church can make you feel a bit vulnerable. So, when you come to Wellspring Church, what can you expect?
1: Presence of God In every service we have praise and worship, prayer and sharing of the word, followed by fellowship around refreshments. We also take Communion once a month, sharing with all ages. Our services often involve enthusiastic singing, prayer that leads in to preaching that brings understanding and application of the Bible.
2: Mission minded We are intent on making a difference by loving like Jesus locally and abroad. We enjoy gathering together on Sundays, and we expect God to do good things among us, but there is frequently an aspect of our services that will focus on our partnerships overseas, our local community work, and an aspect of world affairs.
3: Diversity We aim to be a reflection of the community of Watford and it’s surroundings. We have over 40 nationalities in Wellspring Church, a thriving youth work, and people in all season of life. Expect variety, and we hope you learn to love it - it is part of who God made us to be as a church family.
