A Family Together

How do we stay together as a family?

I don’t know about you but I have missed getting together as a church family, that’s not to say that the online services haven’t been great and joining in knowing that many others are doing the same is good but it is not the same as seeing each other face to face. This is a hard season to walk through but I have come to realise that I need to seek the one who brought us together in the first place because He is the one who will keep us together as a family. 

Going to the Father and talking to him about us, you, me and everyone in the family has helped keep us all in mind. I think there could be a danger of out of sight out of mind and I don’t want that to happen to us, so I have taken encouragement from Colossians 1: 9-12 – it is my prayer for you.

We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.
